An age seemed to have passed for Eilonwy since her last visit. The forest was as beautiful as ever, with its tall trees that provided generous amounts of shade and the lush greens that were now in danger of overgrowing onto the paths. This was such a different world to anything else that resided in Prydain; leaving the boundaries of the forest would cast you into a barren wasteland, the majority of which the Horned King had plundered for his own selfish ends. Eilonwy shuddered at the thought of..of him. He had caused so much misery, so much pain, it was a little hard to believe that their battle with him was over, that he was truly gone.
Or was he? Eilonwy was certain that no being of his power could merely be ‘gone.’ Not without an attempt at being resurrected. Who knew what lay beyond life, it was a mystery to all.
Setting herself beside the lake, which was so clear that one could view their reflection perfectly, the girl closed her eyes, concentrating. The quiet sounds of the forest always brought her some comfort, as she had become accustomed to the groans and echoes of the Horned King’s dungeon. This was a very peaceful contrast. Holding out her hands, she once more released her bauble; it flew gently out, hovering inches above the water.
Eilonwy opened her eyes, her expression set in careful concentration. She had been having such ideas about her bauble in the last few days; what if it could penetrate objects, instead of just floating around them? It would prove most useful in finding hidden clues, ones that humans could not see without some difficulty; one of those being deep waters. Keeping her gaze steady, she slowly turned her right hand, manipulating the bauble lower to the lake.
As long as there were no distractions, she just might be successful in her experiment…
After his ... exciting confrontation with Kim Possible, Dr. Drakken knew that he needed to leave the Isle of the Statue, at least for a little while. The teenage heroine knew where all of his lairs were! It wasn't fair! And it meant that he had to take Commodore Poodles, pack up his mobile lab and go, taking as much with him as he could.
After all, as long as he had his brain, he could always find a way to wreck havoc, SOMEWHERE. It would just be a pity that Kim Possible wouldn't be around to witness his magnificent triumphs! All of that was why he'd taken his mobile lab off the island at the earliest available opportunity, setting out for ports unknown.
He'd intended to go to the Floating Isle, to steal some of their technology, but it turned out that his lab wasn't going to make it that far. Drakken wasn't nearly as skillful with ... any form of vehicle as Shego was and he ended up crashing the mobile lab into a forest.
"Gaaah!" he shouted as his lab hit the forest floor. This was going to put a damper in his whole plan! It would set him back for ... who was he kidding; he didn't have a timetable for taking over the world. He'd never been quite that organized.
Well, he supposed he'd better find out where he was and see what could be done about repairing his mobile lab, so he could be on his way to the Floating Isle as quickly as possible. Grabbing his phone, he glanced at it, frowning when there appeared to be no service at all.
He threw the device back into the lab and set out, hoping he would stumble upon someone who could tell him where he was and direct him to the nearest hardware store.
It wasn't long before he came across a young girl, relaxing at a lake. He was about to burst out of the trees and ask where he was when he noticed something rather strange. What appeared to be a ball of light was floating around the girl, seemingly under her control. Hmm, he wasn't sure what it was, but it could be useful! Besides, it would look cool and help to keep his vines healthy.
Stepping into view out of the trees, Drakken said loudly, waving his arms, "You will hand over that glowing ... thing to me." And if she didn't, there were sure to be dire consequences....as soon as he figured out what they were.
((OOC: I am so sorry this took so long! I am a jerk. And let me know if everything's all right or if I need to change anything!))

((OOC: It's fine, I took longer! It was a great post, I love Drakken and you play him so well!))
The bauble closed in on the water, with each moment feeling like an eternity for Eilonwy. Her concentration was solid; everything else around her had been muted out. Aside from when she had first learnt to conjure magic, this was the most difficult task she'd set herself. Her gaze lowered along with the glowing light, and she suddenly felt apprehensive; just what would happen when bauble and water met? The girl tried to keep her mood positive; if this worked – why, what a breakthrough this could be! It would certainly give her the confidence to conduct further experiments with her magic, which was greatly lacking at present.
The once calm lake began rippling as the bauble bounced lightly on its surface. Eilonwy smiled despite her anxious state, as at least she'd managed to get this far. But now she could feel the pressure building; there was a force preventing the bauble from going any further, almost as if the water itself was hesitant. With effort, the girl extended her right arm – any moment now...
Footsteps, leaves rustling and then a loud, male voice broke the silence and her focus. The bauble shot up upwards, zigzagging around in the air. Eilonwy's head shot in the direction of the newcomer, who was strangely attired and not to mention, blue! He flailed his arms around as he spoke – perhaps in a bid to look threatening? Another time she might have laughed in response, but considering the situation, her mood was one of exasperation. She stood, turning fully to the man.
“What...? Who do you think you are, coming here and demanding I hand over my bauble? Why, how you even have the nerve to ask that after you...” Her voice trailed off; what was she doing, beginning to tell a complete, possibly mad stranger about her magical experiment? Balling her hands into fists, Eilonwy began to turn away, “Please, just leave.”
As the strange, glowing....thing hit the water, the girl seemed to strain. What was she doing? Was she trying to put it in the water? What would that do? It seemed to be some form of electricity, which meant that combining it with water was ....probably not this girl's best idea.
His appearance had startled her (no doubt she'd heard of him and was terrified), but he didn't let that phase him. After all, Dr. Drakken was used to people having heard of him; why should this be any different?
A smirk slipped onto his face at the thought at the thought that his infamy had spread as far as....wherever here was. And Kim Possible liked to pretend she hadn't heard of him before their first meeting! Ooooh, that made him mad; he was going to have to confront her about that the next time he saw her. Which would hopefully not be for quite a while. Which meant that he'd probably forget before then. Hmm, he should make a note before it slipped away from him.
Whipping out a notepad, he muttered under his breath as he scrawled, "Confront Kim Possible about lies." Satisfied with his note, he tucked his pad back inside the pocket of his lab coat, turning his attention back to the situation at hand. Just in time to hear the young girl shouting at him.
He stared at the girl when she told him to leave. She knew who he as and she still had the audacity to speak to him like that? Why, if he hadn't known better, he would have said that she was a Possible. She was certainly acting IMpssible right now, after all. And if he'd learned anything from his association with the teen hero, it was that all Possibles were IMpossible.
"I'm not going to leave just because you told me to," he retorted, crossing his arms over his chest. "That glowing.....thing looks useful and I want it."
