Time passes much more quickly in Rohandor and many long and happy years have gone by since the characters retired to enjoy their respective 'happily ever afters,' their greatest foes were imprisoned in the Forever Stone, bound in an eternal sleep. Until Now.
Happily Ever Afters takes place in Rohandor, a mystical realm on another plane of existence from our own. Here our favorite Disney heroes and villains live in a world all their own; Alive, but far from well. Heroes and heroines fight to keep peace while newly freed villains seek their revenge. Come join us in an epic adventure as the characters you love clash in a struggle that will determine the fate of Rohandor!

Halloween Town was positively crawling with ceaseless activity. With the special night just days away, everyone was busy making the preparations and when they weren't working, they were too anxiously restless to settle down much. Even during the daylight hours, when Halloween Town was generally more sedate and drowsy, the streets were laden and the air was full of voices and cackling.
Sally, for her part, was running almost as nonstop as Jack or the Mayor were in the final countdown to Halloween. Her humble little boutique was very popular and if she wasn't mending a cape, she was brewing elixirs to enhance the full spectrum of "boo's." Of course, her role as resident seamstress for Halloween Town entailed different methods than one would find elsewhere. There was repair work, of course, but Sally was also called upon to maintain the proper levels of decay and spookiness of many of the villagers' ensembles.
One of these more unorthodox jobs was the very thing that Sally finished that morning when the Jack O'Lantern sun was just beginning to shed its leeching light. Rising from her bed after a short rest, she yawned into one hand and descended from her second floor apartment to her small shop beneath. Sally stopped at a little disproportionate wardrobe in a corner and opened it, giving way to a swarm of moths. She held up the lone jacket that was hanging inside it, checking the holes and worn places that the moths had worked on overnight.
Sally nodded, satisfied. She folded the coat over one arm and exited her shop, locking the door behind her. The town square was perpetually abuzz and Sally wormed through the herding of bats and the wrangling of ghosts by the townsfolk on her way to the deliver the jacket. She was halfway along when a specific noise made her stop out of curiosity: a deep, hollow sort of voice that was plainly distressed. Frowning, Sally followed the mournful tones down a side alley and onto a rise that ended on a grey hill on the edge of town.
The Hanging Tree stood there, turning this way and that, looking out across the desaturated fields, folds and forests that surrounded Halloween Town. Something was the matter, Sally knew, and not just because of the troubled muttering that the Hanging Tree was taken up with: all five nooses swayed from its branches, empty. "Excuse me," she said gently. The Hanging Tree turned and the face on its central knot was dismayed. "Oh! Sally! I can't find them," it rumbled. Sally came level with it, large eyes sincere, brows in a knitted frown. "Who can't you find?"
"My boys!" The Hanging Tree reached up with its twig arms and indicated the vacant nooses. It started to speak and the words came out in a flood. "We got in a fight last night. They left in a huff and said I'd be sorry; and I am now; and I'm lonely, but I can't find them anywhere; and Halloween is almost here! A hanging tree isn't scary without anyone hanging from it! I'll lose my job!" It started to shudder with dry sobs, branches shaking. Sally reached out and rested a hand on its bark, hushing it in her most soothing voice.
"There, there. It's all right," she encouraged. "Halloween's still two days off. They'll turn up. I'll-" Sally hesitated for a moment, thinking of the mountains of work in her boutique waiting for her. She bit her bottom lip, grimaced, and then smiled gently. "I'll help you look."

Professor Ratigan: I only just started watching the anime last year and I haven't even touched the manga, so I'm barely hip with it lol. fortunately I have my cosplay buddy guiding me through the whole experience
Jul 30, 2018 22:29:38 GMT -5
Professor Ratigan: also I finally finished the gloves! They were more of a pain to work with than I expected, but they'll hold together... I hope...
