Time passes much more quickly in Rohandor and many long and happy years have gone by since the characters retired to enjoy their respective 'happily ever afters,' their greatest foes were imprisoned in the Forever Stone, bound in an eternal sleep. Until Now.
Happily Ever Afters takes place in Rohandor, a mystical realm on another plane of existence from our own. Here our favorite Disney heroes and villains live in a world all their own; Alive, but far from well. Heroes and heroines fight to keep peace while newly freed villains seek their revenge. Come join us in an epic adventure as the characters you love clash in a struggle that will determine the fate of Rohandor!

Participating Characters:Dr. Facilier, Madam Mim Forum Location: Louisanatown Time of Day: Mid-afternoon Weather: Muggy, humid Thread Location: Dr. Facilier's Voodoo Emporium Premise: Mim drops by to have her cards read.
Facilier had been hesitant to return to Louisanatown, as much as he loved New Orleans. After all, he hadn't exactly left on the best of terms. He'd been planning on essentially selling most of the city to his "friends on the other side." Instead, they'd dragged him into a sort of purgatory, rather than the Forever Stone, something for which he was grateful. He'd spent time working off his debt....., and now, here he was once more.
The man's shadow was sentient once more, thanks to the proclaimed Mistress of All Evil, and it looked up at him from its current position on the door of Dr. Facilier's Voodoo Emporium, as though to ask him if he was really sure about all of this. Facilier was, admittedly, surprised that his little shop had remained untouched since the last time he'd been here. Though at the same time, he had had quite the reputation. It made sense that the superstitious people of Louisanatown wouldn't want to risk the displeasure of someone said to have the power of voodoo. Though that also showed that they didn't fully understand the term, either.
There was so much more to voodoo than what outsiders thought, but he'd used that reputation to expand upon his own, and it had helped business, for quite some time. Now, though....., he doubted anyone in Louisanatown would be back to his shop.
Which was another reason he hadn't been back here since everything that had happened with that Prince and that waitress. Now, though, it was high time he get everything in order here. He might give the old stomping grounds a try, see if anyone came back, but it was likely time for him to move on. For a little while, at least.
((OOC: I apologize for the lame title; I might change it later. If this isn't enough to work with, let me know!))
“Noise noise NOISE!” Mim, in the shape of a rather fat and unkempt pink seagull, pressed her wings to the sides of her head. Down on the street a man was playing the saxophone. A small group of people had gathered round to listen, but Mim could only scowl from her perch above them. Mim usually couldn’t stand music, especially this sort. There was too much soul behind it. It made her hair stand on end.
She flew away, flying low over the ornate buildings. She had not been in Louisianatown long. At first she had quite liked it’s atmosphere— especially out by the swamps. There was old magic here… but as with the rest of Rohandor, the place was crawling with dreamers and lovers. It was most unpleasant, and not at all in a good way.
When Mim flew over Facilier’s shop she felt the magic and the power there crawl over her spine like a spider. “Whatwhat?!” She gave a delighted cackle, swooped around, and dropped into the alley outside his shop. There she transformed into her usual hideous self and brushed off her dress.
Mim squinted up at the sign. “… Dr Facilier’s Voodoo Emporium.” The old hag gave a delighted giggle and pushed her way inside. The moment her beady little eyes lit upon the tall man inside her entire face lit up with glee. Clasping her hands before her chest, she laughed again.
“Ah, a Shadow Man! What luck! And here I’d thought I’d seen the last of ‘em.” Mim walked further in, swinging her arms with each bouncy step. "And open for business, too, I take it?"

He would have to make sure that nothing was missing, but from a quick glance around, it appeared that everything was in order. A bit dusty, considering that he hadn't been back for a little while, but nothing seemed to be missing, which was one of the things that had concerned him.
Facilier made his way over to the shelf where he stored his Tarot cards, finding the box where they were kept. That was still here, which was a good sign. He opened the box, noting that the cloth that his cards were wrapped in was still intact, as well. Pulling the cloth out of the box, he unwrapped the cards, spreading them out on the nearby table. After a quick count, a pleased little smile slipped onto his face. All 78 cards were present and accounted for, and they still looked to be in good shape.
The Shadow Man took a moment to rearrange the cards into a deck before he wrapped them and put them in the box once more. Well, so far, so good. But he would only be able to tell the true state of things after taking stock of everything.
Which was going to have to wait. His sentient shadow pointed him towards the door, showing him that there was someone there.
The woman that had made her way into his shop was quite the interesting specimen. She had short, purple hair, and he could practically feel the power she possessed, even from where he was standing.
One thin eyebrow raised at the woman's words. She knew that he was a Shadow Man, something that very few people were able to discern, especially upon first meeting him. But when she commented that he was open for business, he immedietly offered her a little smile, taking his hat off of his head.
"Welcome to my shop," he said, sweeping into a little bow. "Take a look around, see if you find anything you like." He paused for a moment, then added, "You'll have to forgive the dust; I'm just moving back in." Perhaps. But it was an explanation, at least.
The tall man swept down into a bow and Mim gave a delighted grin. It was about time somebody showed her some respect! She planted her hands on her wide hips and surveyed the shop from where she stood.
Facilier commented on the dust and Mim waved away his words with a dismissive flick of her wrist. “Nonsense. The dust is perfect right where it is.” Her beady green eyes rolled up to the few cobwebs in the corners with approval. If anything, the shop was still far too clean for her tastes, but she still felt more at home here than she had anywhere else she had visited thus far.
There were many items in the shop. She walked along one of the shelves, clasping her hands behind her back. The books held no interest to her because she wouldn’t tolerate reading, but there were interesting talismans, sacred objects, and rare ingredients for potions (if you knew what you were doing). Mim was insane, but she was deviously clever as well. She marked all the things she could put to use, just in case she needed to curse someone in the future.
Eventually her eyes landed upon the box that held Facilier’s tarot cards. Mim suspected what was inside, but being the self-respecting witch she was, knew better than to touch the box. Instead, she looked to Facilier.
“How much to read the cards, dearie?”
