Character Information
Character Name: Tony Dracon
Type of Creature: Human
Rank: Force of Evil
Movie/TV Series: Gargoyles
Home Island: Isle of the Statue
Powers, Skills, and/or Any Other Abilities:
Gunslinger: Tony's fairly good with any type of gun that he can get his hands on. He can even handle more advanced weaponry such as laser weapons fairly well.
Influence: Being part of a large, old criminal family tends to have its perks. Tony's done several stints in jail but usually manages to get out on bail or thanks to clever lawyers brought in by him or his family.
Sleazy Charm: Tony doesn't exactly hide what kind of person he is from most people even when pretending to be a "legitimate" businessman. But this tell-it-like-it-is confident attitude can attract like-minded individuals who have an inclination towards crime into his circle to work for him.
Knowledge Is Power: Having grown up the way he has, Tony has intimate knowledge of both New York City/Manhattan and its criminal underworld. If there's someone or something important, he's more likely than most to know about it and how to use it to his advantage.
Street Smarts: He might not be one for book learning, but Tony's learned some decent survival skills over the years. He's good at manipulating situations to his advantage, if often rather crudely, through either talking, bribery, threats, or some combination thereof.
Backstory:
Tony grew up as part of the Dracon crime family and did the expected things for a young man in such an organization. He worked his way up from the bottom with menial positions, got more tasks as he grew older, and eventually he was given control over operations like gun-running and drugs. While in theory he reported to elders of the Dracons, in practice he acted with more autonomy and independence with associates like Glasses or Pal Joey.
Canon History:
Tony Dracon first encountered one Elisa Maza and her gargoyle friends on a very eventful night. Shortly after the gargoyles arrived in Manhattan and met and befriended Maza, Tony and his men stole a large shipment of 322 particle beam accelerators from Xanatos Enterprises right under the nose of Xanatos' lackey, Owen Burnett, in broad daylight. At the Park Manor Hotel, Maza confronted Tony and his men about the robbery, but the crime boss offered an alibi of hanging out with his associates and confidently, brazenly told her that she had nothing on him, even pointing out that he could tell people to go sell weapons right in front of her and she couldn't do a thing.
Later that night, Tony and the others tested out some weapons in a forest, pleased at the power they were now able to wield. Glasses, Tony's right-hand man, asked if he'd heard that Maza had recently been shot with her own gun in her apartment. He confirmed that he had, adding nastily that it was dangerous to leave such weapons lying around. Tony then asked Glasses if he had to sell off a lot of the weapons to meet their expenses; Glasses replied that he only had to sell a few, but that they might want to sell some more for extra money. Eventually, they found a buyer willing to pay top dollar and to meet them at the docks at midnight.
Tony and his driver managed to successfully elude a police trail on the way, but he, Glasses, and his men soon found themselves under attack by a new threat: monsters! A big purple one and a big blue-green one, to be specific. They tried to fight the creatures off, but to no avail, and Tony soon found himself dangling from the arms of the purple one, accusing him of shooting Maza. Surprisingly, the other one came to something of a defense, confessing that he'd accidentally done so. Tony shortly found himself bound with metal along with the rest of his men. To everyone's surprise, Burnett came in to reveal himself aas the mystery buyer, saying that Xanatos had to get the weapons back *somehow*. The purple one destroyed the remaining weapons, then snapped the one he'd used to do that in half and left it at Tony's feet, ensuring he'd get connected to the theft.
Tony ended up out of jail on bail/thanks to family lawyers and ended up having a few more encounters with Maza and the creatures. There was that business with his grandfather Dominic and the Silver Falcon, for instance, and that proved to be a bust. There was also the scheme with the protection racket where an undercover Maza ended up mbreakaking him think that he could control the creatures through her, but that proved futile when they turned on him and broke up the racket. Finally, and most significantly, there was the turf war that ensued when an Eastern European gangster named Tomas Brod set his sights on Tony's arena. Maza and the creatures managed to put both crews behind bars. Tony even had to share a cell with Brod, much to his humiliation.
Game Information:
Tony's not doing so great after being put in jail and having his criminal empire devastated by the turf war. His family's bailed him out once again, but it's clear that this is his last chance. He has far less responsibility now and will have to work his way up again while the Dracons play damage control. This puts him in the perfect spot to make some potential alliances.
Anything Else:
Tony's main problem is a lack of patience and vision. While he's certainly an ambitious "room for expansion" kind of guy, he tends to focus mainly on his own instant gratification and success rather than long-term, big picture thinking.

Tony let out an exhausted sigh as he looked at the spaces between the bland walls around him, tapping his foot as he waited. Everything had come crashing down thanks to that lousy broad Maza and those *freaks*. He never should have tried to bat at that level. Not at least without some proper ordinance like those laser guns.
His mouth curled in an ugly sneer and he swore loudly, slamming his fist on my table. "If I EVER get my hands on them...." he muttered to himself as the door opened, revealing a sharply dressed woman with a briefcase.
Tony merely nodded at her entrance. "Bracco," he offered. "Guess you're here to tell me my options?"
Bracco smirked. "You always were a smart kid, Tony," she said in a broad accent. "Thing is, I've got some good news and bad news. Good news is, the family made a deal with the DA and you'll get out next month on parole."
He shifted at that. "Alright, shoot, what's the bad news?"
She let out a sigh. "You messed up real good. Papa's not happy." An icy stab of fear went through Tony at that little revelation. "He was willin' to let you act out as long as you got results, but now? Everything's all upside down and our guys are gettin' their butts kicked out there. It's all we can do to keep people like you or Glasses outta jail."
Great. Fantastic. "Up for a demotion, huh?" he asked with a slightly tired smirk.
"'Fraid so," Bracco replied, though not without a certain amount of sympathy. "You can do quiet, little stuff, maybe even work your way back up eventually. But the good days? Right now, they're over."
Tony just.....stared. Everything he'd built, everything he HAD, was in ashes. It was a miracle they weren't measuring him for concrete shoes, really. "Anythin' else I need to know?"
Bracco shook her head.
"Then beat it!" he said, nearly snarling and making her jump. Quickly, she left, though not without a glare at him as he sat in the cold, quiet room. Alone.
