Time passes much more quickly in Rohandor and many long and happy years have gone by since the characters retired to enjoy their respective 'happily ever afters,' their greatest foes were imprisoned in the Forever Stone, bound in an eternal sleep. Until Now.
Happily Ever Afters takes place in Rohandor, a mystical realm on another plane of existence from our own. Here our favorite Disney heroes and villains live in a world all their own; Alive, but far from well. Heroes and heroines fight to keep peace while newly freed villains seek their revenge. Come join us in an epic adventure as the characters you love clash in a struggle that will determine the fate of Rohandor!

She wasn't quite sure how she'd gotten here. It definitely wasn't her home. The trees were too tall and bulky to be Neverlands forest. The heat was too heavy and thick. Tiger Lily's vision was blurring, the rush from one world to another confusing and unusual. Of course she was unaware that she'd just dove through a portal, but desperate times had called for desperate measures. Which reminded her why she'd been running. The young Indian climbed up with the help of a nearby root. Her feet were bare as usual, and she noted that the dirt felt different in between her toes. She couldn't stop to admire right now. She didn't have that much time.
Pushing through the vast space in front of her, Tiger Lily shook her head in an attempt to remove the murkiness from her sight. She wouldn't get very far if she couldn't see more than ten feet in front of her. Still she moved, jumping over boulders and shrubbery, sliding under upright roots. Then she heard them. The first sign of her pursuers was the untamed language as one broke another's fall into the jungle.
It edged her on, vision finally starting to clear up just in time to see the ledge come into view. "She's up there!" one of them shouted angrily as more poured in unknowingly. She stopped at the edge, looking down onto water and rock. The waterfall was diagonal from her current position, and she didn't know where to go. The fall might kill her, in fact she probably wouldn't even make it to the river from here. But she'd rather die than be prisoner of the pirates once again.
Looking back at the men that were now sprinting towards her, she knew that she had time. They were clumsy and rigid, not use to the labor of maneuvering such terrain. Tiger Lily might have laughed, if she was in any other situation. She looked around her, trying to figure out any other way. But she was left with one option. So she jumped.
And she fell. A hand reached towards her, one of the pirates, but missed her as she curled into a nimble flip. And than she was spread out in a sort of unbalanced swan dive. She felt the air batter against her, let the sound of the waterfall sweep her away. She gave a small prayer to the gods of nature as she fell, unsure if they would keep their child safe in such a foreign land.
Despite the many new lands that had sprung up during the merging of the kingdoms Tarzan had little interest in exploring them. Sure he'd like to try a change of scenery sometime, Jane and the Professor had brought back some great stories about the places they visited, meeting royalty and easy access back to England, but his role as a protector came first (plus the tie that went with his suit was so constricting). Currently he was climbing up and sliding down the twisting branches in his daily patrol. The sound of bird flocks in the distance caught his attention though, something was happening near the cliffs.
Rushing out into a less overgrown area he scanned along from the waterfall looking for the disturbance. From the looks of things a group of figures were following one figure trying to keep ahead of them, from the distant voices they seemed hostile. As the ape man grabbed a vine to start his swing closer the pursued figure jumped from the cliff and started freefalling. Wasting no time Tarzan took a running start and jumped from his perch, holding the vine as a safety line. When he reached the cliffs he used his momentum to start running alone the vertical rockwork to meet the faller halfway. Just as they met he wrapped one arm around the figures waist and let go of the vine, directing them both towards the waterfall. As they hit the water he tucked into a roll and protected the smaller one on the landing. A lifetime in the jungle had taught him many things about breaking a fall, what to grab, how to change direction fast and currently the most important, which waterfalls had caves and paths underneath.
Unrolling himself and releasing the rescuee he got up on his all fours walking stance and shook his head to dry his hair off, even a brief pass through the falls had gotten it waterlogged and drooping over his eyes. Finally he turned to check on the newcomer, raising his eyebrows and tilting his head in confusion as he knuckle walked closer to look. She was just a child, her clothing was like something he'd seen in one of the Porters books (not that he could place it right now). What caught his attention most was the feather in the headband she was wearing. Was she raised in the jungle like him? But by birds instead of apes? Was she actually trying to fly?
Lily felt the wind push up against her, currents begin to lift her clothing and slow her decent. For a moment, she thought that her ancestors might carry her on their hidden wings to safety. But the moment passed, and the Princess felt the wind lighten as her fall quickened. The water was below, mysterious and risky. But she had taken the chance. Had her family forsaken her? Was it this strange land that wasn't quite like her own? Did they have any power here?
Tiger Lily closed her eyes, accepting any fate that dared have her. It just happened to be a man's arms, instead of waves and rocks. At first it was a start, pressure against her side as she was pushed from her original path and carried opposite. She opened her eyes, staring at the savior and wondering if he was really a savoir at all. Perhaps a savage of this new world? But some would say the same about her people.
Water lapsed over them, soaking the both of them in the process. Lily was released from his careful grasp, rolling along the caves floor from the shear momentum that they had gained in that single swing. She finally came to rest on her knees, hands placed on the ground in a position that almost matched the peculiar one of her fellow cave-mate.
She could see him well enough, light sifting through the pouring water that was just feet from where they sat. He looked somewhat like herself. Their skin tone certainly matched, and he had the rough look of an Indian. Perhaps they were siblings? His feet and knuckles were callused, flesh strong and durable, like that of her tribes warriors. She shook wet hair from her face, matching his own actions and giving him a weary look. "Ciye?"
Tarzan had never heard that word before. Though he only technically knew one human language plus a lot of animal languages. Jane had taught him a lot, they read every free chance they got but Ciye had never came up. Though he had a pretty good idea what it meant. He raised both hands and pointed them at himself.
"Tarzan." Then pointed at the young girl. "Ciye?"
This brought back memories of his first meeting with Jane. Though it did take a few minutes to get the names right. The first few times he called her 'Ohisee' and 'Nonoahem-I'mJane'. The apeman smiled slightly, he was proud of himself for having worked things out a lot quicker this time around. She seemed unhurt, otherwise why would she rush straight into introductions?
Tiger Lily waited patiently for a response, expecting the fellow Indian to respond in a completely different way. What she was given in return was confusing and awkward. She thought over his actions for a moment, noting the hand pressed towards her, the kind of introduction he was giving. He thought she was a boy. Why else would he call her brother? Lily's face pulled up into a hard glare as Tarzan smiled happily at her. He must be lame. Surely they had women around these parts?
And then he went on blabbering something in that ridiculous language that Peter and his boys used. Maybe he didn't understand that he had called her his brother? He seemed to think that she would be able to respond.
The Princess re-positioned, sitting more so on her bottom as she smoothed out her dress some and pulled drops of water from her hair. She ignored his question, her gaze still on him though it was seemingly obvious that she had no intention of answering him. Her fingers busied themselves with forming a braid out of her tangled raven locks, and she was only satisfied once the job was done.
Rising from her seat, and looking both at the cave and at the waterfall, she chose the more likely of options. "Màdjà." She proclaimed it proudly before turning on her heel and beginning her trek further into the damp and musky region.
Tarzans smile dropped as Ciye glared back at him. Apparently, while she did have her reasons for jumping off the cliff, it was none of his business and he'd upset her by asking about it. The apeman stood awkwardly wondering what to say next as the girl fixed her hair and shook out the water.
Maybe it was wrong of him to ask her reasons for jumping. Especially when he considered that most of his life was spent jumping from trees, waterfalls and cliffs with barely a thought given to what he'd grab on to for safety. Ciye must have been travelling the jungle by the same method and took offense to what might have been an unwanted rescue.
"Madja"
The girl walked off into the cave, likely looking for the route behind the falls that led to ground level. Tarzan slowly followed her, looking to make up for his blunder. He ran one hand through his hair as he struggled to put together an explanation for his rash actions. Ciye was already getting ahead of him as she marched confidently onwards, leaving him to follow in his knuckle walking way.
"Mad-ja? Mad? You're angry? I'm sorry, I just saw you falling and I didn't see anything for you to grab onto so I thought you were in trouble. If you'd like I could show you a route to get back where you were heading."
Hopefully helping her out would make things right. Or just cancel out his wrong and he'd end up back where he started. Would another right help? What was it the Professor told him about two wrongs and rights?
